Available for virtual sessions for residents of Illinois, Indiana, and Colorado, and for in-person sessions at Wildflower’s Oak Park office.

As the co-founder of Wildflower Center for Emotional Health, I’m dedicated to creating a therapeutic space where people feel genuinely seen and valued, and where real change can begin to take root. My approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and the belief that with the right support, every person has the capacity to heal and thrive.

My Specialties

I’ve spent over 15 years helping individuals and couples navigate some of life’s most personal and challenging moments. I specialize in:

  • Women’s mental health, including pregnancy/postpartum and reproductive mental health, infertility, and perimenopause
  • Sex therapy, including sexual dysfunction, desire differences, and intimacy challenges
  • Couples therapy
  • Trauma therapy, including EMDR
  • Anxiety and depression

Clients often find me when they are experiencing postpartum mood or anxiety disorders, parenting stress, relationship difficulties, fertility challenges, sexual concerns, loss of purpose, or the lingering impact of trauma.

My goal is to make therapy a place where you can breathe, grow, and step into greater clarity, confidence, and joy. I practice through an integrative lens, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as CBT, EMDR, DBT, and ACT, along with psychodynamic and existential perspectives.

Education, Teaching & Supervision

Education and advocacy are central to my practice. I’ve had the privilege of training healthcare providers, mental health professionals, and community organizations on perinatal mental health, trauma, and sexuality. I’ve presented at conferences including North American Society for Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynecology Biennial Meeting, Postpartum Support International Conference, and March of Dimes Conference.

I earned my Bachelor’s in International Studies and Master’s in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago. Beyond my clinical work, I lead workshops, support groups, and trainings, and write about mental health topics for both professional and general audiences.

As a certified perinatal mental health clinician (PMH-C) and AASECT-certified sex therapist supervisor (CST-S), I provide consultation and clinical supervision to other psychotherapists—including clinicians pursuing formal sex therapy certification.

A Bit More About Me

When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors with my husband, two sons, and our dog Lulu. Nature inspires and grounds me, and travel is another source of joy—I’m always dreaming about or planning our next trip.

Above all, I’m deeply grateful for the privilege of doing the work I love, with its daily reminders of the resilience and beauty within us all. If you feel I might be the right fit, I invite you to schedule a free 15-minute consultation—I look forward to connecting with you!
