Victoria Strauss

MA, LPC

(she/her)

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Staff Psychotherapist at Wildflower Center for Emotional Health. My therapeutic style is relationship-centered and flexible; I collaborate with my clients to create treatment plans that align with both short- and long-term valued goals, with an understanding that things are always subject to change. Part of why I love this work so much is that I have the privilege of meeting and connecting with people of all walks of life. Because of this, I strive to get to know my clients as people, and not just for their diagnoses and symptoms.

I work with individual adults seeking support for concerns related to depression, anxiety, OCD, life transitions, relationship and interpersonal challenges, and body image struggles. I have extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I am also currently undergoing further training in perinatal and reproductive mental health and working toward becoming a certified perinatal mental health professional (PMH-C).

I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago, and received my Master of Arts degree in Counseling from Northwestern University. After graduating and obtaining my license, I completed an Advanced Clinical Fellowship with the Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic (DASC) where I received extensive clinical training.
