From personal and professional experiences, I have learned that connection is foundational, acceptance is powerful, and change is possible. When we feel disconnected from ourselves, our relationships, or our community, life can feel distressing, isolating, and hopeless at times. My goal in therapy is to hold a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental space for acceptance, re-connection, and healing change to occur. As a psychotherapist, I practice with a collaborative style. I will meet you where you are at and walk with you towards your treatment goals.

I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from Winona State University. While completing my Master’s degree, I was awarded with the National Board for Certified Counselors’ Foundation Minority Fellowship, which provided me the opportunity to expand my knowledge in multicultural practices and support for underserved populations. As a bi-racial woman, I value intersectionality and honor the unique cultural identities we hold as individuals.

My clinical interests include perinatal mood and anxiety disorders as well as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship challenges, and sports performance. My therapeutic style is rooted in a strengths-based approach in which I utilize evidence-based, cognitive behavioral modalities. Prior to Wildflower, I trained in a hospital setting at an intensive outpatient program dedicated to perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I will be pursuing The Gottman Method Level I Couples Therapy training this year. I am perinatal mental health-certified (PMH-C). Before I began my career as a psychotherapist, I worked in the worlds of college athletics, healthcare, advertising, and fashion.
