Jennifer Litner

Jennifer Litner, MSc, MEd, LMFT, CST is a licensed psychotherapist and sexuality educator who is passionate about helping people navigate sexuality-related concerns. Jennifer specializes in sex therapy and relationship therapy and helping people work through life transitions and anxiety. Jennifer is the founder and director of Embrace Sexual Wellness, LLC., a sexual wellness center providing sex therapy and sexuality education programming in Chicago, Illinois. As a sexuality educator, Jennifer offers training on various sexuality-related topics, including Parenting and Sexuality, Keeping the Flame Alive in Long-Term Relationships, Millennial Romance, as well as Safer Sex and Hookup Culture. Jennifer empowers individuals to make healthy choices about sexuality by providing them with accurate sexual health information.

In addition to being a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois, Jennifer is also a Certified Sex Therapist (CST) through the American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT). Jennifer maintains membership with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) and the Society for Sex Therapy and Research (SSTAR). Jennifer earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Tulane University, a Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University and she is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Human Sexuality Studies from Widener University.

Jennifer is an adjunct professor at Adler University in Chicago where she teaches masters and doctoral students in the Department of Couple and Family Therapy. Jennifer’s work has been published in the Encyclopedia of Couple and Family Therapy, Greatist, Kinsey Confidential, Love Magazine and Rosy.
