Life today can feel heavy and overwhelming. While therapy alone cannot remedy the crises of our world, it can offer a space to slow down, acknowledge suffering, reconnect with what matters most, and cultivate moments of resilience and belonging amid disconnection and marginalization. Therapy with me is a collaborative process where we explore the patterns and experiences shaping your inner world and your relationships. For some, this work involves navigating life transitions, mental health concerns, or trauma; for others, it is about learning how to make life feel more manageable, meaningful, or hopeful. Whatever brings you here, you can expect an inclusive, compassionate, and nonjudgmental space to reflect and grow.
I believe our mental health and the stories we tell about ourselves are deeply shaped by the systems we live in, the families who raised us, and the values that guide our lives. With this in mind, my approach is grounded in a systemic and relational lens while also drawing from evidence-based models. I integrate modalities such as acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), attachment theory, compassion-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices to help clients feel more grounded in their bodies, relationships, and sense of self. I am also currently pursuing certifications in perinatal mental health and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). I am deeply grateful to the individuals and couples who trust me with their stories—it is a privilege to learn, grow, and heal together.
My clinical work focuses on supporting individuals and couples navigating trauma, relationship challenges, burnout, reproductive mental health, and identity exploration. I have a particular interest in working with clients who have experienced complex trauma or come from families with challenging or intergenerational dynamics. I am committed to providing affirming care for queer and gender-expansive clients, as well as clients with marginalized identities. I also enjoy working with perinatal clients and new parents as they navigate the emotional and relational shifts of parenthood.
Building a strong therapeutic alliance is central to my approach. I believe trust, equity, and empathy are the foundation of meaningful work in therapy. Using a blend of humor, honest feedback, and collaboration, I strive to create a space where you feel understood, valued, and empowered.
Before joining Wildflower, I earned my Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. Over the past eight years, I have worked with adolescents, adults, couples, and families in a range of settings, including nonprofits, hospitals, and group practices. My background includes supporting clients through anxiety, depression, sexual and community violence, crises, trauma, and relational challenges—experiences that continue to shape my ability to adapt to each client’s unique needs.
