Intake Coordinator & Psychotherapist

As a psychotherapist and a member of the intake team, I wholeheartedly believe that making the choice to start therapy is a courageous one. My therapeutic stance involves a person-centered style, focusing on client choice and autonomy to make life decisions while acting as an informed, and collaborative guide along the way. I believe a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust, honesty, and authenticity, all while using humor and humility. I strongly believe in taking a non-judgmental and compassionate approach with all individuals I work with – it’s one of my favorite parts of doing this kind of work.

I have a passion for working with adults on life transitions, anxiety, body image struggles and depression. I especially enjoy supporting individuals who feel disconnected in their relationships, struggle with vulnerability, and may be new or skeptical to starting therapy. I have extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention, Motivational Interviewing and my personal favorite, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I am also currently pursuing further training in perinatal and reproductive mental health and love working with individuals and families navigating their transition to parenthood.

I earned my bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Loyola University Chicago and my master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with teens in a school setting, women in a community mental health setting, and received extensive clinical training during a post-graduate fellowship with the Depression and Anxiety Specialty Clinic (DASC).
