(she/her)

My approach to therapy is collaborative, integrative, and primarily relational. I believe that the relationship we build in therapy can be an important part of the healing process—a place where you can feel seen, understood, supported, and gently challenged as you work through what brought you to therapy. So much of our lives are shaped by our relationships with ourselves and with the people around us. By exploring these experiences and patterns together, we can develop a deeper understanding of yourself and find new ways of relating that can create meaningful change in your life. I tend to integrate a variety of evidence-based practices, including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and other approaches. Within our work, I want to get to know you as a person and work together to find what feels most helpful for you. My hope is to provide a warm, empathetic, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you can be honest about what you’re experiencing, while also giving you practical tools that you can take with you outside of therapy.

I also believe that who we are and what we have experienced matters. Our identities, relationships, families, communities, and the larger world around us all shape how we experience ourselves and our lives. I strive to create a space where you can bring all of these parts of yourself into the room. Whether we are exploring identity, relationships, difficult past experiences, or the ways that privilege and power have affected your experiences, my goal is to approach these conversations with openness, curiosity, and respect. I want you to feel that you have a voice and choice in our work together and that you can move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I work with individuals navigating trauma (including complex PTSD), abuse, depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, relationship concerns, difficulties managing emotions, questions around identity, major life transitions, and perinatal mental health. I am also passionate about working with the LGBTQIA+ community and providing a space where people can feel comfortable being fully themselves and exploring their experiences in an affirming environment.

I earned my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, as well as a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Florida Gulf Coast University. My previous experience includes working at a clinic specializing in serious mental illness, personality disorders, and trauma as well as a clinic specializing in trauma and complex PTSD. I also have experience working with Veterans experiencing serious mental illness, PTSD, and perinatal mental health challenges. Further, I have worked in a private practice setting helping clients with various presenting concerns.

Ultimately, I see therapy as something we do together. You are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you—to help you make sense of what you’ve been through, better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and find ways to create a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling.
