Katie Caddell, MSW, LCSW
Katie Caddell is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and therapist at Wildflower Center for Emotional Health. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Winona State University. She earned her Master’s degree in Social Work and a Master’s degree in Jurisprudence from Loyola University Chicago.
Katie is experienced in working with adults, young children, families, and couples presenting with a variety of challenges. She supports adults suffering from anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. Her clinical interests include working with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, grief and loss during pregnancy, and infertility.
Katie has worked with young children and families for the past eleven years and has earned an infant mental health certificate from Erikson Institute in Chicago. She specializes in supporting social-emotional development in young children. She works with parents seeking to improve the quality of their relationship with their child by developing and strengthening parenting skills. Her experience includes working with children who have suffered from grief and loss, anxiety, and trauma as well as children who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders, developmental delays, and behavioral problems. She is also a registered Circle of Security parent educator.
Katie believes that we all struggle at times and that therapy is an effective way to manage strong feelings during challenging life moments and to grow in the process. Using a variety of scientifically proven psychotherapy approaches, Katie helps individuals take control of their treatment so that they can achieve a more meaningful life.
